Title: The inheritance games / Jennifer Lynn Barnes. BOOK REVIEW
The theme is mystery and there is a sense of romance there too. In terms of Romance, not quite an fan because this "happily ever after" theme is depressing and pretty which is why I was happy that there wasn't that much of romance featured in the book . As much as this is fictional and I shouldn't take it personal, it just depicts her imagination and to that I personally loved the book, just the way everything played out was amazing and addictive to an extent. The games, what are they all about and who gets to play them, to extent everyone had an impact and it's just who wanted it more. The Hawthorne heir were familiar with what was needed of them and because of the mystery heir they needed reasons or explanation as to why and how. This brought the realization that we must question the things of the world, seek and find solutions to every issue or problem. This is the true meaning of life, don't just live to eat or whatever without truly asking relevant question or even stupid questions this will help get the better view and understanding of cause.
When you consider that if you could win big without there being an explanation for your sudden wealth, would you even question the current reality which consists of riches and a buzz and what about who you are. In considering that fortunes brought to you without even a touch but because of the impact specific people played in your life, now that worth the gift. This book is just captures that there are people who see you without you knowing and I must add although it's fictional it does have realistic touch. Wealth is the game of those who grew with or without it, the heir most fear is just a girl whose wise for her age.
The book as it has mystery and secrets waiting to be released on to the world. The way in which the everything ties down to something it's beautiful. The games lead to even bigger things, I would ask myself why is it that the grandfather knew everything will go as planned or because he trained them that way and learned who they were and how hungry they were. The question of how a girl (Avery) who is not of blood can inherit everything from their grandfather or father is a mystery and we are taken on a journey into what lead Audrey to inherit everything from someone she is not related to or even knew when they were alive. There are rules to the game can she manage the ge and get to her reason inheriting this billionaire lifestyle.
The writer by far took me on a journey that I became quite fond of, which somewhat may have brought a lost of questions as why. The specific characters she choose give way to better understand their reason of being there. Although it's mostly focused on a one person perspective in detailing us what is really happening, the way she now see things and understands them.
When you consider that some books we tend to forget that there was a particular character of some sort or there was no use of that character, having to go back and check who they are in the book is draining. Mystery beyond imagination is what I got from reading it. When one considers that life is like a game and your next move might get you closer or take you back.
